We are currently working on a decision if we will hold  a live pageant  or take applications for At-Large delegates this year for Hope Journey Pageants USA & Canada.  With the cancellation of the Hope Journey International this year due to COVID-19 hardship caused to delegates, we want delegates to have more time to work on their community service projects.

 

Each delegate selected will represent their region of the USA or province of Canada at our International Pageant in Cape Town, South Africa which is being planned for December 2021.  Delegates will be responsible for covering their own expenses to the International Pageant; international entry fee will include meals, but will not include accommodations and transportation to and from South Africa.  The USA/Canada Pageant Office will cover at least a portion of each delegate's entry fee  with fundraising and will assist delegates in their efforts to help cover other expenses.  Delegates must reside in the USA Region/Canadian Province in which they want to represent.  We will be looking to select a winner from each of 10 regions of the USA and each of the 10 provinces of Canada in each age division.  The entry fee for USA & Canada is $399 for a live competition or $199 if we select by at-large titles.  Delegates receive a crown and sash with at-large titles.   

 

The pageant is open to females ages 9 and up of all marital statuses.  Age divisions are:

 

Miss Preteen (ages 9-13)

Miss Teen (ages 14-17)

Miss (ages 18-27)

Ms. (ages 28-40)

Ms. Elite (ages 35+)

**Those ages 35-40 may select whether they want to the Ms. or the Ms. Elite title.

All delegates are required to compete at the international pageant in order to accept an at-large title.  The Hope International Pageant fee will for everyone will be around $600 plus hotel cost around $400.  That means all your meals, snacks, official sash, t-shirt and more are included in the fee;   transportation to Cape Town is not included! Note that you may be required to make your own hotel accommodations; your hotel fee is paid directly to the hotel and you will be provided with a list of hotels that will offer a group rate.  Those not staying at the host hotel will need to arrange their own transportation each day to and from their hotel to the host hotel.   If you have relatives or friends in the area that you prefer to stay with, you must also provide your own transportation each day to the host hotel.  We will have fundraising opportunities available to assist with expenses for the Hope International Pageant.
