ABOUT US

“Use your talents and serve others…” – 1 Peter 4:10

The CEO/Founder of Hope Pageants International, Ingrid Burger, together with her Directors, Elsabe Huysamen and Ben Reynecke, launched a pageant system for children and single women who are passionate about making a significant difference in their community, touching the lives of others and being a positive role model.

This is the only registered pageant system currently that allocates 50% of the finalists scores towards community projects and interview judging during their period of being a finalist.

HOPE Pageants INTERNATIONAL is one of the greatest opportunities for children and single women around the world to focus on using their talents to make an impact in their communities and helps them to start living their own purpose driven lives.

The Pageant is NOT about glitz or glamour or the size of your clothing…it is about your character, values and your HEART to make a difference!

This idea started after Ingrid Burger founded her project, Acting Hope, at the beginning of 2012. www.actinghope.co.za

Acting Hope is a registered charity, NPO 131-510, mainly giving hope and confidence to children and women of communities in South Africa.

Acting Hope has been extremely successful in its growth, implementing various sustainable projects throughout the communities of South Africa. It currently raises funds to for these projects.

Hope Journey is one of the major projects of Acting Hope.

In South Africa and other countries where there are currently Directors appointed, children and women are selected as national finalists, after which they start doing various small projects that would be judged at the final event. Finalists decide on a platform they would like to promote through their own smaller projects.

The winners of the National Pageants as well as other countries that enter themselves directly participate internationally in CAPE TOWN during December. Contestants under the age of 21, need to be chaperoned by either their parent/guardian, or the director of their pageant at no cost to the organisers.

The National and International winners are encouraged to use Acting Hope as their platforms to make a difference during their year of reign.
